So I’ve noticed a lot of Daft Punk’s stuff has a snare or clap on the third beat (half step/time?). I’ve listened to a lot of the suggestions, mostly in the OP, of dubstep music and Daft Punk doesn’t seem to fit because of the lack of reverb. Would a song like “Da Funk” be considered dubstep? It seems to have the elements of half step and about 140 bpm.

[Flash 9 is required to listen to audio.]Richie’s Coachella List Pt. 2:
Mount Kimbie is a London duo that makes the kind of organic and ambient dubstep people don’t usually associate with the genre anymore. Rumor has it that the producers will be performing at the new(er) Pure Filth stage, though I’m not quite sure they’d be a nice fit. Mount Kimbie is not filth nor grime and I’d hardly call it Bass music. Either way, there is almost nobody I will miss them for so if you’re a ligers n tigers fan you can possibly look for some ligers n tigers shirts(hopefully) somewhere near this set.
If you want to hear more of Mount Kimbie, check out their EPs Maybes and Sketch on Glass or their album Crooks & Lovers, I prefer the EPs
Also, it’s Tuesday! Please, recommend us!
